More on the Dri-Ki and what we are about!

A little about myself, I have hunted Bear since 1963 and I have made my living as a Maine Guide since 1983. The Dri-Ki lodge was opened by Carrie and I in 1991 With only one thing in mind; "We want to offer the very best in hunts and to that end we are committed always". To be better is not enough, the best is what we work for.

The Dri-Ki was started because of a need for a smaller lodge with some good, one-on-one guiding. This along with our home cooked food, makes us a place to come back to year after year. We have rooms that handle from one to as many as 10 men. All rooms have their own bath, all is supplied in room, bedding, towels and soap.

The main Lodge has TV for the important ball games. Lots of room to sit and discuss the days hunt, plus fully mounted Game for discussions on shot placement.

Our Kitchen makes all the food served at the Dri-Ki.

Bread, Cakes, Biscuits, Pies and cookies all home made in our kitchen. This year we added a cooler freezer that has room enough to hold 30 bears or Deer if need be. Our equipment is all top line we have what it takes to do the job. You can look a long time and not find a lodge that will do it all and right. We go out of our way to make sure all enjoy their hunt. I had a couple from the Pa. state come up for bear in 99 that wanted to get remarried.

The picture above show the happy couple exchanging rings. Remember we are big enough to give you the best but (small) enough to be able to bend to make your hunt as you want it. Over 80 percent of our business is return each year this is no hype. We live for the hunt with good sportsmen, that is what the Dri-Ki is about.
